Homeless Freeze

The Salvation Army staged an unprecedented publicity stunt Nov. 6 in downtown Minneapolis when more than 100 college students from North Central University stood “frozen” in place amid pedestrian traffic for exactly five minutes.

This “freeze” was meant to highlight The Salvation Army’s new "Ignore No More" campaign, which brings attention to the problems of poverty, hunger, addiction and homelessness in the Twin Cities.

The students had the IgnoreNoMore.org logo prominently displayed on their clothing. The bizarre and powerful display left passersby both confused and curious.
