Terry Hildebrandt - Twin Cities Social Services Director
Terry Hildebrandt received his undergraduate degree from Minnesota State Mankato in Social Work and Business Administration. He received his graduate degree in Social Work from Augsburg College in Mpls. Hildebrandt has 18+ years of service to The Salvation Army and more than 22 years in social services.

Dave Johnson - Assistant Director, Twin Cities Social Services
Dave has a Masters Degree in Social Work. He joined The Salvation Army in 1998, after working for 15 years with the developmentally disabled through positions with ACR Homes, Cooperating Community Programs, and West Metro D.A.C. Mr. John became the Assistant Director to The Salvation Army’s Twin Cities Social Services in February 2005. Mr. Johnson has worked closely with Salvation Army food shelves and emergency services programs throughout his tenure. He has guided collaboration with food banks, the Twin Cities network of food shelves, and a host of other community partners.


Disaster Services
Drew Hasty - Metro Area Disaster Services Coordinator
Drew Hasty is charged with directing the Army’s disaster services program in the 10 county Twin Cities Metropolitan region, as well as volunteer recruitment, training, and overall emergency preparedness. Drew also serves as our Disaster Government Liaison to the States of Minnesota and North Dakota.

Drew is from Golden Valley, where he currently resides. He attended Arkansas Tech University, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Emergency Administration and Management. Prior to joining The Salvation Army in 2007, he interned with the Arkansas Department of Health to develop the State of Arkansas' Continuity of Government Plans for the State Health Laboratory and its central offices.

In his spare time, Drew is an avid runner and bicyclist and can be found enjoying his summers boating on Lake Minnetonka.

Envoy Bill Miller - Harbor Light Administrator
Envoy Bill Miller is currently the executive director of The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center in Minneapolis, where he has served for the past nine years. Before coming to Minneapolis, he served for eight years as the executive director of Harbor Light in St. Louis, MO. He holds a BS in psychology from Asbury College and a MSW from the University of Kentucky. He is a single father to the world’s best son.

The Salvation Army in General
Major Jeff Strickler - Twin Cities Commander
Major Jeff Strickler, a first generation Salvationist, is from Clinton, Iowa. He has earned a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of St. Thomas/College of St. Catherine (1997) and a Bachelors of Science Degree with a double major in psychology and sociology from Iowa State University (1980). 

He met his wife Cindy at a Salvation Army Camp. Cindy was serving as a Salvation Army Officer, commissioned and ordained in June 1981 The Stricklers were married in 1983 Major Jeff was commissioned and ordained as a Salvation Army Officer in June 1986. The Stricklers have two children.

The Stricklers served in various appointments together from 1986-2011, including an appointment from 1997 - 2008 as the Administrators of the Booth Brown House program in St. Paul, Minnesota. In the spring of 2011, the Stricklers were appointed to the Twin Cities where Major Jeff is serving as the Twin Cities Commander and Major Cindy is the Women's Ministries Secretary and Multi-Cultural Ministries Coordinator.


Annette Bauer
- Community Relations Director
During the 500-year flood in the Red River Valley, Annette Bauer began working for The Salvation Army as a volunteer. Soon after discovering the amazing breadth of the ministry of The Army, she accepted a position in the development department and eventually was promoted to Public Relations director for Minnesota and North Dakota. Her responsibilities include overall branding of the organization and directing creation of promotional materials and media connections, including acting as spokesperson in many capacities. She has three children in college who are her pride and joy and lives in Buffalo with her husband Scott who is a middle school teacher.
