MATTEL TOY RECALL
The safety of those we serve is of paramount importance to The Salvation Army - particularly as it relates to children. The Salvation Army is aware of the most recent toy recall and is taking steps to notify all of our field units, donors and shoppers. If you have questions please visit Mattel's recall site at mattel.com/safety/us to follow the instructions for the recent toy recall. We also ask that parents who are going through their children's toys be aware of the fact that toys found on the list should either be sent back to the manufacturer or should be thrown away. They are not items to donate to The Salvation Army for the safety of all involved. The Salvation Army continues to communicate with the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission to be aware of any other recalls.
