Want to Become a Disaster Service Volunteer?
Floods, tornadoes, fires – Minnesota and North Dakota residents have endured record disasters in the past year.
Help serve at future disasters by becoming a volunteer with The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) program. Activities include cooking meals, driving a mobile feeding unit (canteen), serving food, comforting survivors, and much more. You may even get the chance to serve at a national disaster.
The Salvation Army is making it easy to get involved. Now through July 8, volunteer classes are being held across Minnesota and North Dakota. See below for a locations and class descriptions. (Volunteers must first complete the “Intro to EDS” course.)
