Salvation Army Names Volunteers of the Year

The Salvation Army Northern Division, which serves Minnesota and North Dakota, is proud to announce the winners of our 2007 Northern Division Volunteer of the Year awards. The four winners below are shining representations of Salvation Army volunteers, our “Army-behind-the-Army.”

Corporate Volunteer of the Year: St. Paul Police Department

Although English is Lori Clasemann’s native tongue, she’s also fluent in Spanish, a language she has learned for one sole purpose: to be a better volunteer. (read more)

Youth Volunteer of the Year: Shane Sheets
At age 20, Shane Sheets of Green Isle, Minn., has already volunteered more than some people do in a lifetime. (read more)
