Help from Minnesotans, North Dakotans Badly Needed for Iowa Flood Relief
Three weeks later and Cedar Rapids, Iowa is still a war zone.
In early June the Cedar River drowned 100 city blocks of the population 125,000 town, forcing 4,000 households to evacuate. Gargantuan piles of smelly debris continue to litter block after block. The Minnesota Salvation Army has embraced the Cedar Rapids community and needs your help. (read more)

Her revelation occurred last fall, when she attended a “Beyond the Red Kettle Tour” at The Salvation Army Harbor Light Shelter in Minneapolis. The free, one-hour tours are given monthly at Harbor Light and four other Army facilities for no reason other than to show the public how The Salvation Army changes lives. (read more)
