Gopher B-ball Standout Ralph Sampson III Playing at St. Paul Salvation Army
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – July 6, 2009 – Gopher basketball standout Ralph Sampson III is spending another summer shooting hoops at the W. 7th Salvation Army in St. Paul.
The 6-11 sophomore center/forward is playing in the Howard Pulley Pro-Am League, which holds games every Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army facility (401 W. 7th Street).
The games, being held through July 31, are free and open to the public. Concessions are available.
Sampson III, son of legendary NBA All-Star and Rookie of the Year Ralph Sampson, plays on behalf of the Sabes Foundation, one of seven teams competing at the W. 7th Salvation Army.
