Needy Children Shop for School Clothes with Police Officers
Shop with a Cop program will serve 220 kids across metro area

Roseville, Minn. August 8, 2007 The Salvation Army is teaming up with local law enforcement from across the metro area to provide clothing and school supplies to hundreds of needy children.

Through The Salvation Army’s Shop with a Cop program, 220 kids will shop with police officers at Wal-Mart stores and receive $100 worth of new clothes, plus school supplies.

Six Shop with a Cop events will run throughout August. Breakfast will be provided.

Shop with a Cop is being promoted by BOB 106 FM.
