PRESS RELEASE
Dinner: Impossible at Salvation Army Volunteer
Village in Mississippi
December 4, 2007--Can Robert Irvine, a real life chef extraordinaire and the host of Dinner: Impossible, cook dinner for 1000 residents and volunteers of Biloxi, Mississippi in less than seven hours?
Each week, Robert and his team are thrown a new culinary curveball and they must figure out a way to solve their challenge before time runs out. Dinner: Impossible recently filmed a one hour special episode entitled Mission: Holiday Hope at The Salvation Army's Volunteer Village at Yankie Stadium in Biloxi, Mississippi.
There is more to this mission than just cooking food; this dinner is also a welcome home for one Biloxi resident who has been waiting to see her home for two years! Robert will escort Ms. Brenda to her home where she will receive the keys to her brand new furnished home.
Ms. Brenda’s home was built through The Salvation Army’s (TSA) case management and a home rebuild grant from TSA long-term recovery plan. Dinner: Impossible will be feeding mostly Hope Force volunteers on the show.
