Local Celebrities Bell Ring at Mall of America

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – December 13, 2007 – Dozens of Twin Cities celebrities will bell ring at the Mall of America Rotunda on Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Television personalities, sports figures, mascots, radio DJs and others will be on hand to support The Salvation Army’s Christmas fund-raising campaign.

Celebrities include:
● 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Tim McNiff, KARE 11 News; Tom Bulter, FOX 9 Morning News; Jeff Shell and Lee Michaels, KKMS Live; Brian Michaels and Teri Knight, LiteFM Morning Show

● 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Jennifer Hudspeth, Miss Minnesota 2007; TC Bear, Twins mascot; Viktor the Viking, Vikings mascot; Mudonna, St. Paul Saints mascot; MN Swarm players; Chuck Knapp and Jon Engen, BOB 106.1 FM; Ambassadors of the Minneapolis Aquatennial

● 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Scott LeDoux, County Commissioner; David Christian and Pam Lundell, KTIS Morning Show (until 3 p.m.); Wally Langfellow and Eric Nelson, MN Score magazine

● 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Dick Jonckowski, Voice of the Gophers; The Klondike Kates

● 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Star Wars character look-alikes from the 501st Central Garrison fan club (until 8 p.m.); Sharky, MOA Underwater Adventures mascot; Bessie Giannakakis, Mrs. Minnesota 2007

● 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Patrick, 93X; Eric/Popcan, KS95; MN League of Justice (until 8 p.m.)

● 5 p.m.: National American Miss MN 2007

● Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders will participate all day.

Kettle funds support services for the homeless, food shelves, childcare, mentoring programs, rental assistance, senior housing and much more.

The Salvation Army serves more than 200,000 people in the Twin Cities and is a safety net for those with no place to turn.
