The Salvation Army Moves Flood Assistance Centers
in Southern MN

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – October 5, 2010 The Salvation Army has moved several of its flood assistance centers in southern Minnesota.

Flood-affected residents may visit the following locations for information on emergency flood assistance from The Salvation Army:

• Rice County: Faribault Salvation Army Thrift Store, 200 Western Ave. NW, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. or call 507-333-1336.

• Steele, Waseca and Dodge counties: Owatonna Salvation Army Thrift Store, 1810 S. Cedar Ave., Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. or call 507-455-2023.

• Olmsted County: Rochester Salvation Army, 20 1st Ave. NE, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. or call 507-288-3663.

The Salvation Army is providing emergency financial assistance as resources allow. For more information, call 800-456-4483 ext. 3574. If calling after 4:30 p.m., dial 1 + the extension number. 

The Salvation Army has provided food, drinks, cleanup kits and other assistance to thousands of southern Minnesota residents affected by the Sept. 23 floods.
