Local Celebrities Bell Ringing at Southdale Mall

Musician Tim Mahoney of 'The Voice" among dozens of TV and radio personalities, royalty, mascots and others staffing kettles 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Local celebrities will bell ring for The Salvation Army at Southdale Shopping Center in Edina on Friday, Dec. 16. Television personalities, sports mascots, radio DJs, Minnesota royalty and others will participate from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. in the center court of the mall, near the fountains.
The celebrities are helping The Salvation Army during its final Christmas push. With just 10 days until Christmas, the Twin Cities Salvation Army has raised only $3.8 million of its $11.4 million goal.
The celebrities include:

Donations to the Salvation Army can be made at 400 Twin Cities kettle sites, online, by calling 800-SAL-ARMY, by texting "Blessing" to 85944 for a $10 donation which will be added to your cell phone bill, or by mailing a check to 2445 Prior Avenue N., Roseville, MN 55113.
The Twin Cities Salvation Army serves more than 288,000 people a year through its 25 local centers of operation. Daily it serves 2,500 hot meals and shelters 970 people. More than 33,000 local volunteers help The Salvation Army provides these and other services, from child daycare to senior housing.
