LINDEN SCHOLARSHIP
What is the Linden Scholarship?
It is The Salvation Army's way of removing barriers that block higher education from people who do not have adequate financial resources. Qualified individuals will receive up to $1,500 for attending a two-year college, or $3,000 for attending a four-year college. This is a one-time grant for a student's first year of college.
Qualifications
• Must be a High School Senior seeking an undergraduate degree.
• Be a past or current active volunteer in your community.
• Demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA form and the Linden Scholarship Financial Aid Form.
• Resident of Ramsey, Washington or Dakota county.
Learning through community service
The Linden Scholarship Committee is searching for compassionate young adults who are investing in their community by actively volunteering for worthy organizations. Our hope is that the Linden Scholarship recipients are meeting community needs and gaining an understanding of the light they can bring to another's life.
