UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES

Easter Visitor
As part of The Salvation Army Community Care Ministries program, this Easter holiday volunteers have the opportunity, along with Salvation Army staff, to visit nursing home residents and/or hospital patients and distribute gifts to residents. The objective of Community Care Ministries is the provision of spiritual and social ministry to the needy, in the name of Christ. Our motto is Matthew 25:40: "Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me." We are looking for 10 volunteers for each date. All ages are welcome to volunteer, but youth 15 and younger need to have an adult with them.

Date: Monday, March 29, 2010
Time: Meal fellowship at 5:30 p.m.(not required to attend), distribution 6:15 – 8:15 p.m.
Location: Minneapolis VA Medical Center, Minneapolis
